To facilitate variant data management, the “Data Assistant” tool is available. With this tool, you can efficiently and quickly transfer already entered data from one variant to other variants. This includes aspects like the printable surface, price, description, etc.
It is recommended to edit a variant first and then use the “Data Assistant” to transfer all settings to other variants by clicking the “Data Assistant” button:
In the pop-up window, you need to define the source product along with the data to be copied. These fields are mandatory:
Please select the source product to copy from
In the dropdown menu, choose the source product from which certain data should be copied to other variants:
Once you have selected the source product, all other related variants will be displayed in the right window, to which the data should be transferred:
Filter by property group
You can filter the variants by specific properties by selecting the desired property in the dropdown menu:
When you select color or size, only product variants with the selected color or size will be displayed in the right window:
Please define the values to be copied
In this section, specify the data range that you want to transfer from the source product to the other variants:
If “All layer data” is selected, the other options below will no longer be available.
“Only layer images”: transfers only the view images.
“Only editing areas”: transfers only the defined printable areas.
“Price”: transfers only the variant price.
Once you have selected the source product and the data to be copied, choose the variants to which the selected data will be transferred:
Then, simply click on “Copy” to start the copying process.
